About
We build the tools we wish we'd had.
OLA Solutions was born in Cotonou from a simple frustration: the tools for selling online weren't designed for our reality. So we built them — and kept going. Today we are a product and engineering studio: we publish our own SaaS, develop for clients, and support institutions.
Our mission
Put serious digital tools in the hands of entrepreneurs, SMEs and institutions across West Africa — not imported solutions adapted after the fact, but products built from Cotonou, for field realities: Mobile Money, UEMOA, SYSCOHADA, local logistics.
Our vision
A continent where digital innovation starts from within, not from a conference room on the other side of the world. Where launching a store, managing accounting or bidding on a public tender is as simple as opening a WhatsApp account. And where the tools we build today become the infrastructure of tomorrow's economy.
Our values
What guides us, concretely.
Real impact, not promises
What we build must change something concrete in the life of a merchant, an SME or an institution. No feature collecting dust in a backlog, no project that stops at the demo. We measure our success by what happens in the field.
Autonomy as our compass
We succeed when our clients no longer need us to move forward. We build tools that create independence — not services that create dependency. Training, documenting, transferring knowledge: that's as much our job as shipping code.
Rooted in the territory
We don't build for Africa from the outside. We're in Cotonou, we know the real constraints, we talk to merchants face to face. The innovation we bring starts from African ground — that's its strength, not its limitation.
Scaling with ambition
We don't think of ourselves as a local startup doing its best. We target the UEMOA — 300 million people underserved by global digital tools. The market exists, the needs are there — we're building to meet them.
Our team
The faces behind OLA.
Yoan K.
He sees systems where others see problems. Yoan designed the ShopX architecture and maintains all services in production. Convinced that technology should disappear behind the user experience.
Tim B.
He thinks strategy and code at the same time. Tim drives the company direction while keeping his hands in the infrastructure. He's the one who turns ideas into systems that hold over time.
Marius S.
The link between OLA and the field. Marius orchestrates operations, represents the company in public institutions, and makes sure we keep our commitments — to clients and partners alike.
Koffi A.
He gave OLA a face. Creator of the visual identity, responsible for social presence — Koffi turns what we build into something people want to understand and be part of.
